After a picturesque drive along the shores of Carlingford Lough we arrived
at Abbey Nurseries

The Sweet Pea Restuarant provided a tasty lunch

AGM 2016

Last meeting of the year before our summer break.

The public voted Beryl as the winner of most liked piece of work in our exhibition, and Audrey was delighted to present her with the cup




Thanks to Ann Margret and our Chair for 2015 - 2016


And the final Pot Luck Lunch as usual a perfect spread provided by our members



First Meeting of the 2016 - 2017 year is on the Thursday 8th September

Gelli Plate printing

This is the Gelli plate, solid but pliable as well


After paint is applied to the plate then fabric or paper can be printed

some effects on papaer

and on fabric

This is an example of how the technique can be built up with heat and stitch
Using Lutradour as the base.
